- Material Use: Throughout the design and building stages Our Company addresses waste minimization and considers construction systems to reduce environmental impact.
- Site Management: Our Company keeps up-to-date with local council regulations regarding storm water and waste management control during the construction process.
OH&S
- OH&S Policies: each project for completion also carries a job specific OH&S policy. People are our most important asset and health and safety in the workplace is a priority for our Company.
- Assessments of OH&S policies: their implementation, effectiveness and ability to control site safety.
- Site Inductions: The objective of site induction training is to provide information and knowledge of the OHS procedures, risks and hazards specific to a particular site.
Environmental Management
Our Environmental Management Commitment is based on our belief that the planning, procedures and implementation of best building practice directly influences our impact on the environment.
- Passive Design: passively designed homes can significantly reduce your need to mechanically heat and cool your home. We can make recommendations regarding: site orientation; passive solar heating; passive cooling; insulation and thermal mass.
- Water Use: the drought and water restrictions have raised consumer awareness giving us all a greater understanding of the need to reduce our consumption of water. We are able to introduce clients to practical ways of reducing, reusing and recycling water.
- Energy Use: We are able to access energy efficiency documentations, which can enable clients to make informed choices about items such as hot water services.
